Directors Meeting

The meeting will cover key decisions, community priorities, and updates on the programs and services supporting the Kalumburu community. Community members are encouraged to stay informed and engaged as we continue working together for the future of Kalumburu. The meeting will take place on the 13th of August.

Airstrip Closed

Please be advised that Kalumburu Airstrip will be closed from 23rd August to 6th September for essential resealing and repair works. This closure is necessary to maintain the safety and quality of the airstrip for the community. We appreciate your patience during this time and will provide updates as the works progress, with the airstrip expected to reopen on 6th September.

CommBank in Community

Commonwealth Bank will be visiting Kalumburu from 24th to 26th August to provide banking support services directly to community members. Representatives will be on hand to assist with account queries, financial guidance, and general banking needs, making it easier for community members to access the support they need close to home. We encourage everyone to come along and take advantage of this opportunity.

Kalumburu Day

Join us on 15th August as we celebrate Kalumburu Day, honouring the founding of our community by the missionaries in 1901. This special day is a chance to reflect on our history, celebrate our culture, and come together as a community to acknowledge the journey that has shaped Kalumburu into what it is today. We look forward to celebrating with community, family, and friends.
